Paragraphs? We don't need no stinking paragraphs!
Lunch break in Princeton. I am surfing and checking my e-mail on a huge Samsung 30" widescreen display (like a PC version of the Apple Cinema Display HD).
At this width, my blog has no paragraphs. Just wide, wide sentences.
It's rather disconcerting, but the visual effect is kind of neat. A "rhythm of black lines", as it were.
Anyway, back to work. Guess my updates aren't so sparse after all, but the real juice is coming when I get back and have time to tell long stories and post pictures.
Cheerio!
Overheard on the L train last night...
"I'm from Texas. In Texas, we don't have attitude faces!"
Saw Rainer Maria at Brownie's in the East Village. Took the NE Corridor to Penn Station, A train downtown to the L train, where I heard the amusing snippet above.
Club was tiny and hot. Kyle (guitar player, sometimes singer, guy I went to high school with) spotted me in the 2nd row mid-concert and exhorted the entire audience to buy me beers.
He is such an accomplished artist, and enjoys being on stage immensely. The joy of living rolls off of him like sweat off of, well, anyone at Brownie's last night.
Full story and pictures when I get home. I had a good time. My ears are still ringing. Tiny clubs make for major bad tinnitus.
